Findings have contributed to the existing literature on project management practices on public enterprises and providepractical recommendations for ECDSWCO to enhance their internal project management practices. The research outcome is being valuable for managementand corporate governance. The research involves a description research design, quantitative research approach and census method to analyse the data. The studyused a primary source of data which is questionnaire for targeted staff member then the Data is analysed by description of major variables, and comparison ofrelationships among variables using computers. The study expects to uncover the key variables on the performance of projects. Data has been analysed bydescription of major variables, and comparison of relationships among variables using computer (SPSS software program). Chi-square and p-value is used todetermine association between variables and p-value<0.05 was considered as significant. The study used ten independent variables those which are the tenproject management knowledge areas and three dependent variables which are selected based on the constraint of project performances (time, cost and quality).From those independent variables three of them which are integration, cost and quality management practices have a significant impact on project performance.Majority of respondents suggested that a better integration, cost and quality management practices are essential for better performance of the enterprises onprojects. My recommendation based on the finding of the research is that the Organization should establish a better project management practice on projectsfor a better performance especially on three of them mentioned above.
