The research was intended to achieve three specific objectives which are stated as follow; Primarily, to assess the relation between parental income and academic performance of primary school students, secondly to determine the effect of parental educational background on primary school students academic performance and finally to investigate how home environment affect student’s academic performance. The survey participants were 212 students as well as their parents from the three governmental elementary schools. The research used questionnaire as a method of data collection. The collected Data were analyzed by descriptive statistical methods and Multiple Regression.
