To do so various factors useful for evaluation were selected and utilized after examining different literatures. The result show that a significant importance of regenerative brake followed by rheostatic, eddy current E-P and magnetic track brakes. The result can help planners and engineers to conduct preliminary general assessments concerning the suitability of the five brake system, to develop tools for evaluation, to assess different brake system for a given high-speed train, and also helpful for anyone who engaged with train braking.
