&lt;br/&gt;Abstract: Injury has been defined as body feeling that something wrong was happening (Deretke&#xD;
Clayton, 1981). One important element in determining the causes of injuries and prevention is&#xD;
having proper understanding of&#xD;
causes and ways of preventing as well as rehabilitation&#xD;
techniques. The long distance training requires prolonged hard working on the other hand the&#xD;
existence of biomechanical imbalance, too much running on the hard surfaces and training&#xD;
shoes contributes for injures in the bones, muscles, ligaments and joints in the acute and sever&#xD;
cases. The purpose was to find out and recommend the causes and prevention of injures in the&#xD;
long distance athletes. The area of the problems were scarcity of proper foot wear, absence of&#xD;
sport medicine professional, qualification of coaches, the training surfaces, prolonged training&#xD;
habits of athletes, and proper warm up and cool down, and stretching for flexibility increments&#xD;
and site conditioning and strengthen the ligaments and joints. The research methods selected&#xD;
for this study is descriptive survey research since the aim of the study is to describe facts. The&#xD;
primary sources of the data for the study long distance track athletes, the clubs coaches’ club&#xD;
administrators and athletics professional as well as sport medicine physicians. And also the&#xD;
document analysis, IAAF coaching materials, important internet websites and j provided&#xD;
important constructive topic under study. Questionnaires, interview, document analysis,&#xD;
discussion and observation were used in generating information from the respondents. These&#xD;
points raised as problem should be improved and understood by all stalk holders involved in&#xD;
the issues directly and indirectly to resolve the long distance athletes’ injury in the course of&#xD;
training and races.</description>

      <title>Interpersonal Relationships among Ethiopia Commercial Bank’s Female Athletics Team</title>

&lt;br/&gt;Abstract: The study was conducted in Ethiopia commercial Bank sport club female athletics team&#xD;
here in Addis Ababa. The main purpose of this study was to study the interpersonal&#xD;
relationships among Ethiopian Commercial Bank sport club female athletics team. The&#xD;
participants in this research were consisted of 26 tracks and filed female athletes,&#xD;
three coaches of the team, and the general manager of the team .The participants were&#xD;
selected non random sample as purposely. The major instruments in this study were&#xD;
questionnaire, interview, and field observation. The questionnaires were administered for&#xD;
both female athletes and coaches of the team. To consolidate the information obtained&#xD;
from the questionnaire, unstructured interview was conducted with the general manager&#xD;
of the team and field observation was used. The finding of the study related to the&#xD;
interpersonal relationships among athletes of the team indicated that, most of the athletes&#xD;
responded that there is mutual respect, responsibilities, supporting and appreciating&#xD;
each other during training and computation. They also said that they respect, trust and&#xD;
like their coaches even if they face communication, leadership and coaching styles limits.&#xD;
In conclusion, the study showed that there is some what a positive interpersonal&#xD;
relationship among each athletes of the team, coach and female athletes,&#xD;
coaches – management of the team. It is a great impact that the team giving motivations&#xD;
like incentives and bonuses, apply cooperative coaching styles, improve communication&#xD;
and cooperative leadership contribute positive interpersonal relationships of the team.</description>

&lt;br/&gt;Abstract: This study is conducted with ultimate objective of exploring the training of youth football project&#xD;
and its contribution to the main clubs with the case of premier league participant clubs of Addis&#xD;
Ababa Administrative city. Four sample youth (junior-B) projects were selected, from seven&#xD;
Addis Ababa Administrative city premier league participant clubs, (EEPC, Dedebit, Defense and&#xD;
Commercial Bank of Ethiopia) youth projects using simple random sampling technique. Thus,&#xD;
the subjects in the study were 100 players, 4 coaches, and 4 administrative officials. In this study&#xD;
descriptive survey method was employed. Questionnaire was dominantly used as data collection&#xD;
instrument; unstructured interview and observation were also used in the process. The data&#xD;
gathered through questionnaires were analyzed by using frequency counts and their&#xD;
percentages; where as the data gathered through interview and observation were analyzed&#xD;
through descriptive statements. The major findings include that failure of coaches to manage and&#xD;
follow players throughout the training session, inappropriate or wrong methods of warm-up and&#xD;
cool-down by players, lack of facilities and equipments for training, and nutritional variables&#xD;
affect the training of youth projects and its contribution to the main clubs. Hence, it could be&#xD;
concluded that the training of youth (junior-B) projects which are administered or governed by&#xD;
Premier league participant clubs of Addis Ababa Administrative city highly affected by shortage&#xD;
of facilities and equipments. In addition to these inappropriate or wrong methods of warming-up&#xD;
and cooling-down also some of the constraints of the training session.</description>
